Also, I have talked to a lot of vets and almost everyone says that if your hamster is a dwarf one then you should keep anything sweet out of their range because they are more prone to diabetes. Also, that be it any hamster they should not be given any food which has a lot of sugar content regularly they should always be fed in moderation only.

There is not much precaution to be taken while feeding raisins to your hamsters. But make sure before you feed them that these raisins are fresh, not stale, and wash them before feeding them.
